The Irish Pilgrimage Trust is organising its next Fundraising Cycle to Lourdes. Cycle 2018 will be the 18th biennial cycle undertaken by the Trust. The Cycle is a wonderful experience for all those participating, from the physical challenge to the pilgrimage journey, this event is unique and life enhancing. The Cycle raises much need funds to provide special holidays for disabled children in Ireland and in Lourdes.

Cycle 2018 will be formally launched in Lourdes during the Trust's annual Children's Easter Pilgrimage in April 2017.

1984 - First Cycle Group 1984 Tea Stop 2014 Cycle Group
In 1984 a small Group of cyclist and their support van set off from Eyre Square in Galway to Cycle to Lourdes and raise some money for The Irish Pilgrimage Trust. The Cycle immediately established itself as a biennial event.
In March 2016 a group of 126 cyclists and back up crew completed the 900km cycle from Paris to Lourdes and celebrated the 32nd anniversary of the first cycle. Plans are now in place for the next Fundraising Cycle to Lourdes which will take place in March 2018.
